Matt Cooley founded Cool Patch Pumpkins in 2001, starting with a simple pumpkin stand alongside his field, run with the help of his kids. What began as a small family venture quickly grew into a world-renowned destination, with a pumpkin patch and corn maze recognized across media platforms, news outlets, and even the Guinness Book of World Records.
Today, the patch and family farm are proudly run by a father-and-son duo, representing the third generation to carry on the legacy. At Cool Patch, we’re rooted in faith, family, and fun—values you’ll feel the moment you arrive. We’re proud to offer a place where families and friends can gather, make memories, and celebrate the fall season together. We also love partnering with schools and churches to provide engaging, educational field trips for all ages.
